Nanotechnology is the most promising technology field in 21st century, providing benefits and scientific advances to global development. New nanotechnological devices, platforms, production systems have shown a wide range of applicability, especially for nanoparticle applied microorganism detection/diagnosis, treatment, drug delivery. This review aims point main area through several publications involving use nanoparticles clinical sector. Nanoparticles are produced by using different physical, chemical, or biological methods. Several platforms diagnosis been developed, including vaccines, drug-delivery systems, novel treatments, thus innovating pharmacological diagnostic areas. Immunoassay, DNA hybridization, Raman/SERS common methods used identification microorganisms diagnosis. Moreover, metallic oxide-metallic inhibit growth filamentous fungi, yeasts, oomycetes, bacteria, viruses, protozoans. The present shows an increase nanotechnology application, regarding biotechnology medical fields, contributing revolution this area.
